Overview:
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) vide its notification dated 21st June, 2023 has extended the due date for filing of DPT-3 for Financial Year ended on 31st March, 2023 by providing relaxation in paying
additional fees in case of delay up to 31st July, 2023.
What is Form DPT-3?
DPT-3 is a return of deposits that companies must file to furnish information about deposits and/or outstanding receipt of loan or money other than deposits. It is also required to be filed annually.
Every company except a government company must file this return.
Due date for filing Form DPT-3 for the Financial Year ended on March 31, 2023 is June 30, 2023. But
keeping in view the transition of MCA-21 Portal from Version -2 to Version -3, MCA has decided to
allow companies to file Form DPT -3 for the financial year ended on March 31, 2023 without paying
additional fees up to July 31, 2023.
MCA-21 portal is an e-Governance initiative of Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of
India that enables an easy and secure access of the MCA services to the corporate entities,
professionals and citizens of India.
