To provide relief to senior citizens, who are unable to submit lower/no tax deduction certificate to the Banks and other institutions, due to outbreak of pandemic Covid-19 virus in India, CBDT has come up with clarification for Form 15G and 15H vide its order u/s 119 dated 03.04.2020 as below;
If person had submitted valid Form 15G and 15H to the banks or other institutions for FY 19-20, then these forms shall be VALID UPTO 30.06.2020 for FY 2020-21 as well.
