ICAI Extends Bulk UDIN Generation Facility to ‘Tax Audit’ and ‘Audit & Assurance Functions’

ICAI has extended the Bulk UDIN Generation facility, until now available only for Certificates, to the ‘Tax Audit’ and ‘Audit and Assurance Functions’ categories as well, permitting members to generate a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 UDINs together in a single go, with the option to edit or delete entries before final submission. Audit teams and practising members are encouraged to incorporate the bulk facility into their UDIN workflow for the ongoing compliance cycle, while continuing to verify each entry carefully before submission and ensuring that UDIN generation for Tax Audit and Audit and Assurance assignments otherwise continues to meet the timelines and conditions already prescribed by ICAI.
