He is an active member of leading global business chambers, including USISPF, IGCC, and the Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce. He regularly engages with global CEOs and Managing Partners on business, audit, tax, and other global issues.

Atul is a Chartered Accountant and Masters in International Taxation from NALSAR, having more than 25 years of expertise in Direct Tax, International Tax, Cross Border Transaction Advisory, Tax Litigation, Representation before Tax Authorities and related services to many of the Firm’s largest global clients. He is the Co-Chairman – National Council of International Taxes, ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India) and has been consistently supporting and contributing to the growth of profession and business community under the aegis of ASSOCHAM leadership over the years. He is also the Vice Chair – International Tax, Asia Pacific Region of Praxity’s Global Tax Steering Committee, providing actionable insights into the challenges and opportunities within the Asia Pacific Region. He has assisted in tax and business structuring for corporate’s setting up their business in India or outside India, to and from multiple geographies including, USA, France, UK, GCC, Australia, Singapore, Korea, Japan, China, Mauritius and Malaysia.

Nitin is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience. He has worked with leading Indian and multinational companies across sectors including manufacturing, telecom, IT/ITeS, oil & gas, and pharmaceuticals. His expertise spans cross-border M&A deals, transaction structuring, international tax, due diligence, acquisition integration, supply chain structuring, litigation management, and transfer pricing.

He has also led various initiatives in corporate structuring and restructuring, listing readiness for domestic as well as international markets, and developing holding structures for international expansion.

Manish has over 20 years of experience in transaction advisory, specializing in fund raising for Venture Capital and Private Equity funds, private placements for growth-stage and pre-IPO companies, as well as M&A transactions.

He currently serves as Practice Leader for SW India, focusing on fund raising for technology companies and pre-IPO placements for SMEs and mid-cap companies.

Before joining SW India, Manish worked for around five years in the Transaction Advisory practice at Ernst & Young and PwC, and spent two years at D.E. Shaw & Co., US, in private equity advisory.

Manish is also an active participant in various professional forums, contributing insights on emerging trends in transaction advisory.

Akhilesh Thakur is a Partner and Advisory Leader at SW India, with over 22 years of expertise in risk advisory services. A Chartered Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor, he brings a strong professional background, including leadership roles at Big 4 accounting firms and specialized consulting organizations.

Akhilesh has extensive global experience spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. He has successfully led large-scale internal audit transformations, IFC/SOX implementations, and operational consulting engagements across diverse industries. His strategic insights and hands-on approach consistently deliver value to clients navigating complex regulatory and operational challenges in both domestic and international markets.

He has been actively associated with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) India for over a decade, including serving as President of the IIA Bombay Chapter.

Nishant is an Indian CPA and holds an MBA in Finance, with over 14 years of experience in statutory audit, tax audit, limited reviews, group audits, due diligence, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

He has handled assignments for listed companies, large corporates, and multinational organizations. His prior experience includes tenures at Ernst & Young, KPMG, and Mazars.

Jitin Aggarwal is a Chartered Accountant with over 14 years of experience in statutory audit, tax audit, group audits, limited reviews, due diligence, financial accounting, payroll management, FEMA compliance, IFRS, IND-AS implementation, company incorporation in India, regulatory compliance, MIS reporting, and consulting services.

He has handled assignments for both large and medium-sized Indian and multinational companies across diverse industries, including manufacturing, services, power, automotive, retail, IT consulting, back-office support service centers, construction, and defence.

Jitin’s prior experience includes working with Grant Thornton, where he gained significant expertise in delivering high-quality audit and advisory services.

Amandeep Singh Oberoi is a Chartered Accountant with over 8 years of experience in indirect taxation advisory, audit & assurance, and due diligence. He has extensive expertise in leading and managing audits and tax assignments for large multinational and listed companies.

His core strengths include managing engagements, delivering technical support, and building strong client relationships. Amandeep has developed significant expertise across the government sector, aviation, automobile, manufacturing, consumer durables, and metals & mining industries.

He has successfully represented clients before tax and appellate authorities in matters relating to search, scrutiny, audit, and assessment.

Avdhesh Varshney is a Director at SW India with over 15 years of experience in internal audit, management advisory, forensic audit and IT risk. He has worked across sectors such as manufacturing, BFSI, services, real estate, infrastructure, publishing, and insurance, helping organisations strengthen internal audits, IFC/SOX compliance, processes, and governance frameworks. He holds professional credentials including an MBA, LLM, CISA, and CFE with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, ISO 31000, ISO 27001

Before joining SW India, Avdhesh held senior roles with Big 5 firms and leading Indian and multinational organisations. At SW, he is actively involved in building the risk advisory practice, mentoring teams, and working closely with clients to manage risk in a practical and confident way.

Jalaj Gupta is a Chartered Accountant and a commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, with over 12 years of experience in various aspects of Indian tax legislation for multinational and domestic companies, including transfer pricing, tax litigation, tax assessments, and international taxation.

He has worked with Big 4 firms and other global consulting organizations.

His expertise includes:

• Managing multiple projects in transfer pricing and international taxation
• Litigation and litigation strategies, including appeals, hearings, and submissions to Assessing Officer/TPO/CIT(A)/DRP
• Corporate tax advisory, planning, and compliance

Deepanshu is a Chartered Accountant and commerce graduate with over 12 years of specialized experience in Global Transfer Pricing. Prior to joining SW India, he spent the major part of his professional career in senior roles with Big 4 firms and other multinational organisations, building a proven track record of delivering end-to-end Transfer Pricing solutions to a diverse portfolio of multinational clients across sectors.

He has guided numerous clients through complex Transfer Pricing litigation, including representations before the Tax Authorities, the Dispute Resolution Panel (DRP), the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) (CIT(A)), and the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal.

Deepanshu also brings extensive experience in Transfer Pricing planning engagements, encompassing the design and implementation of TP policies across industries. He has led global core documentation projects for large multinational groups spanning jurisdictions including the USA, UK, France, Australia, Singapore, Japan and Africa.

In addition, he has advised major Indian-headquartered multinationals on tax-efficient structures, supporting TP planning for new business lines and entities being established both in India and internationally.

Amit Kumar is a Director in the Audit & Advisory practice at SW India, bringing over 15 years of progressive experience in statutory audit, financial reporting, and complex accounting advisory. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Delhi. He has also completed the ICAI’s AICA – Level 1 certification, reflecting his focus on integrating emerging technologies into the audit and reporting function.

Prior to SW India, Amit built his career with leading Big 4 and Big 6 firms, holding progressive leadership roles across audit and advisory practices. Over the years, he has led high-stakes engagements for Indian listed companies, US SEC registrants, IPO-bound entities, large multinational groups and large private companies across Ind AS, IFRS, US GAAP and SOX/ICFR frameworks.

His sector experience spans manufacturing, power and renewable energy, metals and mining, real estate, infrastructure, and services, with deep exposure to auditor transitions, global auditor coordination, and multi-location operations. Known for his structured, business-aligned approach, Amit partners with CFOs, Audit Committees, and Boards to strengthen financial reporting frameworks, enhance governance, and navigate evolving regulatory landscapes with confidence and clarity.
